As a requirement for using “Biometrics” for accessing your Care at Home Account, you must first set up the native settings on your smartphone for Biometrics (fingerprint, facial recognition). Once that is done, you can also set up Biometrics to access your Care at Home account to speed up your login process without the need to enter your password.
To set up Biometrics for Care at Home,
-
log in to your Care at Home app, and then from your home screen, tap on your photo (or a graphic photo icon placeholder) at the top left corner to open your Profile.
-
From the Profile screen, tap on “Preferences”.
-
On the next screen tap on “Biometry and Passcode” to access the selection screen.
-
On the selection screen check the box for “Use Biometry”, then tap “Save”.
-
Tap the back arrow to return to the home screen.
On your next login, you will be able to access your Care at Home account with your fingerprint or facial recognition (depending on how you set up your native phone settings for Biometrics) instead of your password.
Note: If you use fingerprint to access, you will see a fingerprint window on your log in screen. Simply apply/press your finger that you recorded on your native system on the fingerprint icon to access your Care at Home account.
If you dismiss your fingerprint window, you can recall it by tapping on the fingerprint icon to the right of the password field on your Care at Home login screen.
