Your Care at Home mobile application has a feature that generates a “Badge” which can be presented on your Care at Home icon and within your Care at Home app.
A Badge is a small dot (typically with a number inside of the dot) that appears in the corner of the icon for an app on your smartphone.
A Badge on your Care at Home icon lets you know that there is something that needs your attention. For example, it may mean:
-
it’s time to record your scheduled actions (e.g., symptom measures, vitals),
-
a new message has been posted, or
-
some other kind of notification. Please note that the native settings on your mobile phone must be enabled for you to see badges posted on your phone’s icons.
Once you open your Care at Home app, additional Badges may also be presented inside the app that indicate where you should specifically direct your attention within the Care at Home mobile app.
Care at Home uses a “follow the badges” strategy to help you
-
complete your scheduled actions,
-
more fully participate in your program and
-
maximize the benefits of your Care at Home mobile app.
To be sure, you do not have to wait until you see a Badge to use Care at Home. You can open and engage in your Care at Home mobile app, with or without a Badge being presented, at any time, to record your measures, write in your journal, send a secure message, or use any other feature supported by Care at Home.
You are invited to fully explore the Care at Home app at any time to enjoy all the benefits offered to you on your health journey.
